If patients create an Anima account with details that are different from the EHR (SystmOne/EMIS), we won’t allow the account to be created until someone at the practice manually verifies the patient. For example, a patient signs up to Anima under the name “Joe Bloggs” but the name in the EHR is “Joe Michael Bloggs”, the patient will need to be manually verified. Here are the steps to manually verify a patient:
Click “Patient Management” in the main Anima dashboard on the left hand side column

Click “Manual Verification”.

Double click the patients you want to verify.

Verify the details via your EHR or manually update and click “Verify”.
Head to your Anima main dashboard and click “Create request” in the top right hand corner.

Search for the patient via the EHR.
If you know their NHS number you can click “I know the patient’s NHS number”.

If you know their first name / last name / date of birth, you can click “Search by name in EHR”.

You should see a message “You should see the message "We could not find an Anima account for this patient.
Click "Create new patient account".
